Rosco conversion gels are especially useful for balancing light from different sources, such as when using tungsten lights alongside LED or daylight lights. For example, CTO (Color Temperature Orange) gels convert daylight (around 5600K) to a warmer tone similar to tungsten light (around 3200K). Conversely, CTB (Color Temperature Blue) gels cool tungsten light, shifting it toward daylight color temperature.
