The main feature of the Manfrotto 420B is its telescopic jib adjustable from 112 cm to 231 cm. This allows positioning the camera in hard-to-reach places that a standard tripod cannot access. The jib stand is made of high-quality black anodized aluminum, giving it great stability and durability. It also has an adjustable counterweight system to ensure greater stability when the jib is fully extended. The Manfrotto 420B is easy to use and adjust thanks to its quick-lock mechanisms and ergonomic knobs. Additionally, it is compact and lightweight to carry, making it ideal for outdoor shooting.
Consider using it as a support for the Rode Blimp (see here) and use it as a boompole that, unlike a microphone pole, stays solidly grounded. Plus, there’s no risk of it entering the frame!
