Details
Each NERO XL provides a capacity of 300Wh / 20,300mAh at a nominal voltage of 14.8V and can handle loads of up to 18A / 300W. The high capacity significantly extends runtime compared with lower-capacity V-Lock batteries, making it particularly useful with fully rigged cameras, monitoring systems and other equipment that needs to remain powered for several hours.
The NERO series uses Hedbox’s internal Cells Framing Construction system, developed to keep the cells securely positioned inside the battery housing and improve durability during professional use and transport. The V-Mount connection also features an aluminium wedge designed to provide a stable fit with compatible battery plates.
A four-LED indicator on the battery allows the remaining capacity to be checked quickly, displaying levels of 100%, 75%, 50% and 25%. In addition to the main V-Mount connection, the battery features a D-Tap port and a 5V / 2.4A USB port, useful for powering or charging small accessories, smartphones and other compatible devices directly from the battery.
The NERO XL measures 152 × 96 × 78 mm and weighs approximately 1.3 kg. It can operate within a temperature range of -20°C to +45°C, making it suitable for outdoor productions and more demanding operating conditions.
