To shoot a simple yet professional interview, we suggest the Panasonic Lumix GH6, equipped with a fake battery for continuous power, paired with a versatile lens like the Lumix 12-60mm (equivalent to a 24-120mm on full frame).
This camera setup ensures a professional result with a lightweight rig and an efficient workflow.
The interview setup naturally includes a tripod: the Manfrotto MVK500AHM, which can support the weight of the Lumix GH6 with all the accessories provided in the kit. In addition, its lightness and durability let you take the entire setup anywhere without feeling weighed down by the gear. The two LED panels that make up this one-camera interview setup are the Aputure Amaran P60c, featuring variable white temperature and 0–100% dimming. They can also be set in RGB mode. Power can be supplied either by NP-F batteries, which offer about 1 hour of runtime for maximum versatility and precision, or by a DC power adapter.
The audio section relies on the Sennheiser AVX wireless system, known for its incredibly fast setup thanks to the new wireless technology that’s easy to handle even for videomakers with little experience in radio frequencies. The Sennheiser MKE2 capsule is a professional-quality standard, and thanks to its small size, it can be either visible or hidden under clothing. And, in that case, don’t forget the skin colored tape!
