The Zoom H6 allows you to record as many tracks as you need for a direct take. The 4 combo XLR connectors allow you to connect and power both instruments and microphones that require various levels of phantom power, from +12V up to +48V. If desired, it can be connected to the computer and used as a sound card.
The Rode NTG4+ microphone, which is part of this #AudioFor Boom operator bundle, has high sensitivity given by its condenser capsule and long shotgun mic barrel. The microphone can be powered either via XLR with +48V phantom or via the internal USB rechargeable battery that returns up to 150 hours of use.
The Rode Blimp is the ultimate windproof and shockproof mounting system for RØDE shotgun microphones and any third-party shotgun microphone up to 325 mm in length.
