The 420Wh 28.8V V-Lock Battery Kit for hire, based on the SWIT HB-C420S, is designed to power high-draw cinema lighting and professional equipment when extended runtime is required without relying on mains power. Each battery provides a capacity of 420Wh and can deliver up to 500W continuously, with peaks of 650W, maintaining high output even when the remaining capacity is very low.

Details
The HB-C420S operates at a nominal voltage of 28.8V, with an operating range from 22V to 33.6V. It is therefore essential to use it only with equipment compatible with this voltage range. The battery uses 24 lithium-ion cells and provides a total capacity of 420Wh / 14.7Ah.
One of the main advantages of this system is its ability to power high-output fixtures directly. According to SWIT, for example, two HB-C420S batteries can power an Aputure LS 600C Pro at 100% output for at least 1.2 hours. The kit includes the SWIT PC-P461S charger, which can charge up to four V-Mount batteries simultaneously. With the HB-C420S, it supports charging at 100W per channel, taking a battery from 0 to 80% in approximately 3.9 hours and to a full charge in around 5.3 hours. The 3.5″ LCD displays charging status, current and voltage and, when used with compatible SMBUS batteries, also shows capacity and cycle count.
Each HB-C420S weighs approximately 2.08 kg and features a 5-LED digital indicator for quickly checking the remaining charge. The battery can operate during discharge at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C, although SWIT notes that both capacity and maximum output may decrease below 0°C.
