The production kit includes additional memory supports, the CFast 2.0 cards, allowing you to record in any available format. For power management, the production kit offers a rig for V-lock power supply (including a riser plate, D-tap cable, and charger). It’s also designed to meet both audio and video connection needs. The cinematic look and incredibly workable files in post-production have made the Blackmagic Pocket 6K PRO for rent one of the preferred cameras for independent filmmakers. It records on a 1TB SSD and can be powered by external power supply, making it a perfect camera for interviews and live streaming (especially when paired with Blackmagic capture cards). Being a cinema camera, the BMPCC 6K does not have a stabilized sensor or a performant autofocus, which is why we do not recommend it for event reportage, music videos, or, in general, very dynamic shoots. Remember: it’s a cinema camera, designed to be rigged and accessorized. We also recommend organizing a camera test before heading to the location. Beware also of gimbal compatibility because it is very light but has a very wide body that makes stabilisation difficult (or sometimes downright impossible). Choose the Ronin S4, specifically designed for this model.
