With a thickness of approximately 2.4 cm, it is used when a small but precise height adjustment is required without resorting to a Quarter, Half or Full Apple Box. It is one of those simple accessories that is used constantly during the setup of film, television and photographic productions.

The Sidereus kit includes 8 Pancake Apple Boxes of the same size, each with a surface area of approximately 50 × 30 cm. They can be used individually or stacked to create progressive, controlled height adjustments while maintaining a broad and stable support surface.

Common uses include levelling dolly tracks, stands, camera supports, set pieces and furniture. A Pancake can be placed under a leg or support point to compensate for an uneven surface, or used to raise a camera, light or scenic element slightly when a few centimetres make a difference to framing or rig alignment. This ability to make fine adjustments is exactly what makes the 1/8 Apple Box format particularly useful for everyday grip and camera work.

The Pancake Apple Boxes can also be combined with Apple Boxes of other sizes to build more precise intermediate heights. This allows the crew to adapt support quickly to the situation without relying on improvised spacers or less stable solutions.

The Wooden Pancake Apple Boxes for hire at Sidereus Milan are suitable for film productions, commercials, music videos, events and photographic shoots that require small lifts and fast on-set adjustments. The Pancake Apple Box rental in Milan is supplied as a set of 8 pieces, ready to be integrated into a production grip package.

The Wooden Pancake Apple Boxes for hire are a grip kit consisting of 8 × 1/8 Apple Box elements, designed for small height adjustments, levelling and precise on-set corrections.
